With skillful interweave within the ripping skein of guitar formation that assembles the core logic of each piece, song structure moves to emphasize rhythm as foreshadowed through energetic blast or drop cadence drumming, matching vocals to rhythm work and letting that structure o
f thrust carry listener attention forward as guitar shades ambiguities with shifting textures and crosshatches of simultaneous motions in phrasing. Baffling in the depth of co
mplexity seemingly immanent to that process, the music of Imprecation fashions from basic parts and simple heuristics reasonable metal that matches the ferocity of its raw energy to a dark spirit that, had this band continued, might have fully emerged in a culmination of this anithesis of peace in sound.

Next, Tor Erik was approached whether he was interested in joining Stig to create some great music. Luckily he was, and that great music took the name of Eternal Dementia. A series of intense rehearsals followed and soon "The Virgin, Sedated and Seduced" and "Set Out to Die", two killer songs, were written. At the time Stig was the main driving force behind the band. He can be given credit for all lyrical and synth parts, and several riffs while Tor Erik did the rest. The pair was very pleased with the material they had put together but wished to broaden their horizons. So when opportunity knocked on their doors and Robert Florholmen and Andreas Gr?tan offered their guitar skills, it was most likely that they would accept gladly. From then on Stig focused mainly on vocal and synth roles and Tor Erik took drum duties.
In January 2004 the band entered the studio to record their first effort entitled "The Virgin Sedated and Seduced". The demo was mixed and mastered by Tony Waade at Mistral Lydstudio and printed to 200 copies. Two songs were recorded for this release, as well as an intro track to "Set Out to Die". The music in the demo can be described as a blend of howling vocals, crushing guitars and thunderous drums contrasted by mellow synth passages.
Eternal Dementia play neither black nor death, just authentic metal. Their musical style is highly original as they believe that music should be about expressing oneself.
