Cavus

Cavus was formed around the year 2008 by the founding fathers guitarist J.K and drummer T.T.T. in their hometown of Porvoo, Finland. They gave birth to this creature of hatred and devilry to serve them, loyally and unquestioning, through times of violent intoxication and depths of depravity. By the joining of vocalist W, bassist A.R.G and second guitarist B.P, the lineup was complete and a truly devastatingly destructive force.

The first offspring of this alliance was a self titled EP, consisting of four hymns in the honour of plague and pestilence, that was released in 2009.After live performances with bands like Mayhem, Behexen and Sólstafir in the autumn of 2009, Cavus signed a worldwide recording contract with French record label Listenable Records and a management contract with Finnish management company SSG Management Ltd.

Debut album "Fester and Putrefy" was released by Listenable Records 27.9.2010 which was followed by a European tour as main support for Gorgoroth.

Country of origin: Russia
Year of creation: 1995
Genre: Folk/Pagan/Doom/Black Metal

In Slavic mythology, Alkonost (Алконост) is the goddess of the land of the dead. She is pictured as half-woman/half-bird.

The band stands on non-political and anti-racist positions.

ALKONOST was founded in 1995 by bass player Elk. He had many ideas of music which would be based on European medieval music and Russian folk melodies. Not long after that Elk switched to lead guitar and Alex Nightbird took on bass duties. In August 1997 Alkonost recorded the "Shadows of Timeless" rehearsal tape and the "Shadows of Glory" demo.

During several occasions in 1998-2000 Alkonost recorded the album “Songs of the Eternal Oak”. Alex Nightbird contributed the vocals himself. The debut album was re-recorded in 2007, this time with a way better sound and Russian lyrics. The album was initially released on cassette by Latvian label Beverina Production and German label Ketzer. During year 2000 Alkonost shoot the promotional video “Years of Prophecy”, shortly after which female lead vocalist Aljona joined the band. In July 2002, the self-titled "Alkonost" CD was released on Beverina Production/Ketzer. It included the "Songs of the Eternal Oak" album, "Spirit Tending to Revolt" demo, and 2 videos. The CD was well reviewed in the West, the German RockHard magazine giving it 7.5 points out of 10 for example.

In September 2002 they began to work on the new full-length album, the album where female vocals dominated. Alkonost recorded both English and Russian versions of the album “Between the Worlds”. In September 2003 Dmitry Sokolov (ex-member of Flaming Hate as Anton) officially entered the band ass second guitar-player. At the end of 2003, the band signed on with Soyuz label (Russia) for the re-release of the 2002 “Alkonost” CD. In 2004 ALKONOST continued the extensive touring, performed in Folk Metal Fest-2 (St. Petersburg). In August 2005 ALKONOST went to studio for the recording of the next full-length Russian album named “Put’ Neproydenny” (“The Path We’ve Never Made”). The album was mastered in famous Moscow studio “CDM-records”. Finally “Mezhmirie” and “The Path We’ve Never Made” were released by Metallism Records in spring 2006 and in April-June 2006 ALKONOST started a big Russian tour in support of “The Path We’ve Never Made. Vic Records bought the rights of these 2 albums for a world wide releases (except the former Sovjet Union). Meanwhile CD “The Path We’ve Never Made” continued to get good reviews and finally it took the 1st place in one of the most significant Russian metal-charts – "Top Metal Album-100. VIC RECORDS released both 'Between the Worlds' (Vic Records, 2009) and 'The Path We've Never Made' with bonus video (Vic Records, 2009) in the rest of the world'.

Noctis Invocat

NOCTIS INVOCAT was born in a full moon, end of march 1994. Bringin to their land (Guatemala) a new meaning of darkness.

This only demo (E.D.O.F.) was worth to the band in 1998  to made their new step, recording on “Southern Hellish Productions” a label from Argentina, their debut CD “Depressiva Vox Clamantis” (a depressive voice who claims), it contains 7 tracks of the most atmospheric, depressive and melodic black metal even better than their first demo E.D.O.F., showing a natural evolution, well structure song, fast changes of times, and a complex arrenges, mixing acoustic slow pasages with fast, brutal and diabolics sounds, making a intense and deep trance to the feeling.

Also they bring to their music diferents lenguages: English, Spanish, German and Latín, and like plus a female vocals, and unheard whispers.

The new step for them was a new challenge, make a production for themselves, a mature step, involving the whole band in a new responsibility, bring a new and a powerful, even better than their predecesor, and the results was in november of 2002 NOCTIS INVOCAT enter to the studio again, and was born their second effort called: “Luxuria In Caellum” (Lust in Heaven), this time with a new member Willy Monroy on the keyboards, who brings a new blood to their pentagram, 7 (plus intro and outro) obscure, melodics, acoustic, and raw brutal black metal tracks, always in the same occult and mystic vein, who makes this band the most notable acts in Guatemala and the central america scene.

Nargaroth

Nargaroth was formed from the ashes of a band called Exhuminenz in 1996 by Kanwulf, Charoon, and Darken, and the first recordings were completed in 1998 using a drum-machine.

The alias "Kanwulf" came from a French book with old Scandinavian names, such as the more famous Beowulf, and less famous names like Arkwulf.

The name "Nargaroth" came from the word "Narg", as it stands for nature and Ash was strongly related to it, and Gorgoroth since Ash is a big fan of their Sorcery Written in Blood demo and Pentagram album.

NOTE: Do NOT add the albums "Live in Erlangen" and "Kriegsnebel", those are BOOTLEGS!
Also the split with Sarvari is not authorized by Nargaroth but only agreed in between Zyklon-B Productions and Sarvari.
