Infernum

Infernum was created in 1992 by Anextiomarus and Tom Balrog (Oppressor/Baphomet's Throne). In 1993 they released their first Demo entitled "The Dawn Will Never Come". After few months they recorded the
"Damned Majesty" Cassette. On this album you can hear keyboards which were created by Rob Darken (sessions). Between 1993 and 1994 Tom Balrog abandoned Infernum. He became replaced by Capricornus.

In 1994 Infernum released full-length album "Taur-Nu-Fuin" through Astral Wings Records .
During recording When The Light Has Died Capricornus is already only session's music and at these time together with Darken finished cooperation with Infernum band .Soon after that Anextiomarus hangs Infernum activity.
In 2000 Peter (Thy Worshiper) and Anextiomarus created an unholy Death Metal project named Dagon, and they recorded a Mini album.

The original Infernum. Not to be confused with the other Polish Infernum.

After the split-up of Infernum because of problems, Rob Darken and Anextiomarus later on revived and continued their own incarnations of the band, leading to the existence of two d
ifferent bands from the same city with the same name. This Infernum is against the wishes of Infernum's founder, Anextiomarus. Darken and Capricornus were only session members.

Paimon helped Anextiomarus out with Infernum at times.

1996 - "When the Light has Died" Unreleased Tracks

Basically Carpathian Wolves/1000 Swords-era Graveland with Anextiomarus doing the vocals and songwriting. Very much in the same vein with a more mystical/atmospheric bent to the music. Disbanded when Anextiomarus turned into a police informant, but Anextiomarus reformed it in December '02.

Anextiomarus formed Infernum when he was 16. On 30/04/04, Ane
xtiomarus commited suicide by jumping off the 5th floor of a apartment building. He was 28. All of Infernum's albums will be reissued and dedicated to him.
There are currently two bands called Infernum, one of which consists of Darken and Capricornus, and another which consists of the other members who had joined the band before Anextiomarus' suicide. This other Infernum is listed on its own page, since it's essentially a completely different band. The releases recorded with the old line-up and by the Darken/Capricornus line-up will be listed on this page.
